So last year this time I was doing my Yard Sale thing and I stumbled across a sale with Beer making equipment. Having a friend who was into this stuff I decided to stop as if I wasn’t going to stop anyway. So I grab up all the beer stuff and started digging around in a cardboard box to see if there was any more that I missed. In the bottom of the box there was a strange looking small camera lens of some sort. As I am always on the lookout for camera stuff I picked it up and added it to my pile. SIDE NOTE: Always make a pile, as it is much easier to negotiate with a bulk of items rather than getting a price on every item.
So, I walk up to to the proprietor who happens to have his photography equipment neatly laid out and overpriced so I fully expected to get hammered on this little lens. To my surprise, he was clueless that he even had this item and couldn’t tell me anything about it. Good for me as he sold me the beer equipment and the lens for $10. $8 for the beer making stuff and $2 for the lens. Having purchased this lens from a “PHOTOGRAPHER” I assumed that it was probably not worth much. I threw it into my bag of camera findings in anticipating of eventually finding a camera that it would work with.
A year later I am in the process of putting together some 35mm camera lots to sell on Ebay and ran across this lens so I started doing a little research to see if it had any value on its own. So this DALLMEYER ANASTIGMAT lens was selling on Ebay for as little as $50 and as much as $800 so I decided it would be worth while to throw it out on auction. Now, I was not able to find this exact lens for direct comparison so I let it be determined by those who obviously know more about this subject than I.
Now it’s 10:30 pm and my auction just went live. Trying to get a good night sleep my email/ebay notifications start to blow up. First a guy who want’s me to put a $300 buy it now price on my auction then another guy who is offering $1800 out right to stop the auction. Half asleep I decide to deal with it in the morning, then the second fellow sends another offer of $2200 to end the auction now. This is enough to make me get out of bed. I tell him to call me since anyone serious enough to offer this much for a lens surely can pay for an international call. Sure enough within minuets hes calling me to work out the details. Having only paid $2 I’m groggy and ecstatic that someone wants to pay me 2K+ for this item.
End of story, He transferred the money and I sent him the lens. Now, I am sure that it was worth more but my philosophy is that if he buys it AS-IS then I am absolved of any minor BS that might not be perfect with the piece. And now my pockets are lined for this week of hunting! It’s a rare occurrence but it is so much fun when it happens. Happy hunting fellow yard Salers.

We’re back at the Experimental Garage Sale, where we tried to buy some experimental garages. Haha!
I’m just throwing out old jokes. We actually checked out the Akai MFC42, courtesy of Michael Una, who manipulated cutoff and resonance filters with one of the BOSS Dr. Rhythm series drum machines as the source.

Chances are youre wondering how I can offer such incredible value for such a ridiculously low price.
This video explains exactly WHY
The story ends up here at our storage locker, but began way back in 2006 when we had the honour and privilege of bring the legendary marketing genius Jay Abraham to Australia for 2 annual events we called the Ultimate Business Building Bootcamp.
Back then, we were known as Jay Abraham Asia Pacific.
In was in 2006 that we created a physical product the Entrepreneur Business Building ToolKit, a compendium of Exponential Marketing strategies to support business owners through the evolution of learning the Exponential Marketing Mindset.
The ToolKit has two elements: A physical Audio CD that you can listen to in your car a great way to use time in-between appointments and a Data CD filled with valuable business building tools you wont find anywhere else.
The Audio CD is the classic recording of Peak Performance Coach Tony Robbins interviewing the legendary Jay Abraham. This recording has created more entrepreneurial millionaires than any other in history the world over.
Back in the days when business people used to listen to cassettes, they would wear them out from repeated listening. Each time they listened, they got a new idea to grow or save money in their business.
As you run your business you and it changes and evolves over time. Youll want to revisit these ideas over and over again. Because something that may not be relevant to you today may be next months breakthrough you need to land that big account.
The Data CD is filled with audio recordings, templates, checklists and full colour Mindmaps that cover foundational exponential Marketing strategies that you wont find anywhere else:
When we created this Toolkit, we were branded Jay Abraham Asia Pacific.
For a while we were associated with Empowernet International.
We changed our corporate name to Platinum Programs and then subsequently to Exponential Programs.
That was a lot of branding changes In fact – too many.
Thats how and why I ended up here at our storage locker today.
We initially launched and sold the Toolkit for $1,997, but our branding changed.
We put a temporarily hold on promoting it because we didnt want to confuse our prospects and clients using our old brand.
Of course as you can imagine out of sight, out of mind.
These boxes sat in storage for years completely forgotten.
Until we relocated our locker to a new facility.
Thats when it hit home.
Here were boxes full of priceless building advice that entrepreneurs like you need to help you deal with the toughest recession in recent history.
But I still had the dilemma of the branding issue as well as updating some of the components of the Toolkit for todays tough economic conditions.
Thats when I decided to create this unique promotion and decided on this irresistible price.
I need to get this out of my storage facility and you need to get your hands on these priceless business-building tools right away.
The ONLY impediment then might be PRICE- so to clear out all my inventory, I decided on this price so you simply cant resist.
I mean cmon just one idea will pay for the whole thing.
Im even including paying for shipping anywhere in the world!
But its not about what the Toolkit costs, but what you can do with the tools and the mindset it provides. Youll come up with great ideas like
•Like Mark, an IT specialist, in Melbourne who added $1,000 per week to his bottom line by uncovering ONE hidden asset that was right there in his business all along.
•Or Neville in Sydney who stopped wasting $2,800 on advertising, replacing it with more effective exponential strategies, increasing sales 40% in 3 months.
•Or Caroline in Adelaide who was struggling to find clients for her coaching business and is now fully booked 3 months in advance.
•Or Paul in Oslo, Norway who got inspired all over again about his business and career the legacy he is building for his young daughters.
•And Andrew, in Montreal Canada who keeps reinventing himself as he changes careers re-discovering new situations to use these powerful tools over and over and over again.
This Entrepreneur Business Building Toolkit was specifically designed to give you all the tools you need to get your business going and growing faster and with a lot less cost and effort especially in a recession when cut-throat competition is at its worst.
But the Toolkits got our old branding thats the ONLY reason its being sold at this never-to-be repeated Garage Sale Price.
